Board of Trustees
The trustees named on the Corporate Affairs Commission status report. They are the governing body and are collectively responsible for the Foundation.

Other people work with the Foundation as officers and programme leads. They are not trustees and are not listed as such. Anyone joining the Board will appear here only once the Corporate Affairs Commission record is updated to show it.
How decisions are made
- Trustee pay
- Trustees serve unpaid. They may be reimbursed for documented expenses, approved in advance by a trustee who has no interest in the claim.
- Spending
- Programme spending is approved by the Board against a costed budget. Payments for scholarships go to the school or examination body, never to an individual.
- Conflicts of interest
- A trustee with a personal interest in a decision declares it, it is minuted, and they take no part in the vote. The register of declared interests is kept by the Board.
- Safeguarding
- Anyone working with children or vulnerable adults completes safeguarding induction first. Concerns go to the safeguarding trustee and are recorded.
- Record keeping
- Attendance registers, assessment results and partner confirmations are kept for every activity. They are the source of every figure on the impact ledger.
- Accounts
- The financial year ends 31 December. The Board signs off the annual accounts, which are published on this page.

Raising a concern
If something is wrong
Complaints about a programme, a volunteer or a trustee go to the Board. Write to info@anarifoundation.org marking the subject line “Complaint”, or call +234 815 076 0605. A trustee with no involvement in the matter will handle it.
Safeguarding concerns about a child or a vulnerable adult are treated as urgent and are not held for a Board meeting. Where a concern indicates a criminal offence, it is reported to the Nigeria Police Force or the relevant state authority.
Correcting the record
If you believe a figure on the impact ledger is wrong, say so. The Foundation will check it against the source document named on the record and either correct the entry or explain why it stands. The correction is dated, so the change is visible rather than silent.
